Will Clyburn went 22 for 34 Sunday, including 4 of 12 from behind the three-point line, to set a new YMCA Capital City Basketball League scoring record.
Clyburn scored 63 points for the Walnut Creek YMCA, besting the previous record of 55, set by Josh Young in a playoff win. Clyburn's hot shooting wasn't enough to defeat Patch.com, led by George Niang with 30 and Tyrus McGee with 25. Niang also pulled down 15 rebounds.
In other games, Peak Performance defeated ADIO Chiropractic, 107, 96, and Coca-Cola defeated Capital Orthopaedics, 109-87.
Patch.com grabbed sole possession of first at 3-1. The Y dropped to 1-3. All other teams are 2-2.
