Not every day does the NBA come to the Big WDM — but it is tonight.
In a matchup of talent that should be as impressive as it should be fun, two former Iowa State University stars will square off against each other in the YMCA Capital City Basketball League.
Royce White, a projected first-round NBA draft pick, will join former coach and Patch blogger Derek Hannah to play for Patch.com. Former ISU star Craig Brackins — now a free agent after playing with the Philadelphia 76ers — will play for ADIO Chiropractic.
Come back to Patch tomorrow for pictures of the game. And Like us on Facebook for plenty more pictures.
Game time is 6:45 tonight at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School in West Des Moines.
But don't wait until then to come out. The Walnut Creek YMCA takes on Coca-Cola at 5:30. Following the Patch.com-ADIO Chiropractic game, Capital Orthopaedics faces Peak Performance.

This guy could be doing a thousand other things as he looks forward to a career with the NBA. Instead, he supports the Y. How cool is that?
