DART routes remain detoured due to downtown fire

The regular routes serving West Des Moines from downtown, including those on Ingersoll Avenue, University Avenue and Interstate-235, as well as the Westown, Vista and E. P. True express routes will remain detoured due to the Younkers fire this past weekend.

In addition, several bus stops will remain temporarily closed in downtown Des Moines on Monday due to ongoing street closures surrounding the scene of the Younkers fire. The detours will be in effect and the bus stops closed until the streets reopen. DART Central Station remains open.

Riders are advised to expect delays in the downtown area due to anticipated traffic congestion.
