Bowl for Kids' Sake 2012

Do you love to bowl and help kids? Well, you can do just that at Bowl for Kids’ Sake, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa’s signature fundraiser.

Do you love to bowl and help kids? Well, you can do just that at Bowl for Kids’ Sake (BFKS), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa’s (BBBSCI) signature fundraiser.

1) Start a team. Grab a few friends to form a team of four to six people. Register here! This is a great activity to do with friends, family, co-workers, fraternity brothers or sorority sisters.

2) Start securing donations. Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $100 in donations for a total of $400 – $600 raised per team. Spread the word about BFKS by inviting others to visit the BFKS website. Donations to your team can be made online; it’s so easy and simple!

Want to know the best part? All of the event expenses are completely underwritten by our corporate sponsors. That means 100 percent of the money raised by bowlers goes directly towards supporting children served by BBBSCI in the community.

3) Start bowling. After you have secured your donations, it's time to have fun! You'll receive two free games of bowling (shoe and ball rental included!), a Bowl for Kids' Sake t-shirt and chances to win door prizes!

Bowling will be at Plaza Lanes in Des Moines the following dates:

Thursday, March 1 from 9–11 p.m.

Friday, March 2 from 3–5 p.m.

Saturday, March 3 from 1–3 pm & 3–5 p.m.

Thursday, March 8 from 9–11 p.m.

Friday, March 9 from 3–5 p.m.

Saturday, March 10 from 3–5 p.m.

We also offer Virtual Wii Bowling. Register your team today and host your own Virtual Wii Bowling day at your office.

Is the site now as dead as it appears to be? Doesn't seem to be anyone commenting/responding, andRead More since the convenient 'Recent comments' bar was taken away, it's impossible to now know what, if anything, people are speaking about.....
