Pancake Breakfast Part of Fire Prevention Week Activities

Tours of the fire station and equipment demonstrations will be featured.

A news release:

The West Des Moines Fire Department's annual Fire Prevention Week open house and pancake breakfast will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 7-11 a.m. at Fire Station 21, located at Valley West Drive and Ashworth Road.

National Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 6-12.

The cost for the breakfast is as follows:

Adults: $5

4 years-12 years: $3

3 years and under: Free

All proceeds benefit training and equipment.  

Tours of the station and apparatus will also be available. Additional parking will be available in the north lot of the church next to the fire station.
