Police Pursuing Indecent Exposure Charges Against Driver Who Was Allegedly, Ahem, Distracted
A West Des Moines woman said the suspect was completely or partially undressed as he cruised the area.
A complaint of a man allegedly masturbating as he drove around West Glen Town Center early Saturday morning has been referred to the West Des Moines Police Department’s criminal investigation unit.
A 26-year-old West Des Moines woman who works at a bar in the area reported the incident after her shift ended. She told Officer Shawn Miller that as she was walking to her car around 2:20 a.m., she noticed the man in an older white car driving slowly around the area.
She said that he did not appear to be wearing trousers.

The witness was unable to give police much of a description of the man, other than that he appeared to be in his 20s.
