Suspect in West Des Moines Crime ‘Spray’ Turns Himself In To Police

Former Farm Bureau employee arrested on second-degree criminal mischief charges.

A Farm Bureau Financial Services employee allegedly caught on video of several attractive co-workers turned himself into West Des Moines police Saturday.

Lauri Strottman, a corporate vice president, for the West Des Moines insurer, told police last week that employees had been complaining about stains on their chairs since October. Farm Bureau had surveillance cameras installed in February to determine who was behind it.

On Monday, police charged Raymond Charles Foley, 59, with second-degree criminal mischief charges, the Des Moines Register reported.

Foley, who was fired after admitting to inappropriate behavior, worked in the information-technology department and had access to the employee database, including workers’ photos, and “would pick out attractive females,” Strottman told police.

Then, during off-hours, the suspect would come into work and urinate on their chairs.
