Patch Will Have Live Coverage of Saturday's GOP Presidential Candidate Forum

Six of the major Republican presidential candidates will be in Des Moines for Saturday's Family Leader Forum. The discussion will be led by Fox News contributor Frank Luntz.

Political want to know which GOP candidate picks up the supporters being shed by Rick Perry and Herman Cain, but the audience of Iowa conservatives at Saturday's Family Leader Thanksgiving Family Forum is more interested in hearing the candidates' stance on family values.

All the major GOP contenders — except for Mitt Romney, who will not attend — have confirmed they will take part in the event. As many as 2,000 likely caucus-goers are expected to fill First Federated Church of Des Moines.

The discussion, moderated by Fox News contributor Frank Luntz, will explore how the candidates have formed their views on issues.

“I promise this forum won’t be like anything you’ve ever seen,” Luntz said in a statement to the Des Moines Register. “No gotcha questions by the panel. No spin by the politicians. Just an authentic discussion among the people who seek to lead this great nation.”

There are a couple of ways to follow the discussion.
