That's why Patch is happy to be hosting a debate watch party Tuesday with Eric Branstad -- If that name sounds familiar, it's because he's Gov. Terry Branstad's son -- Dallas County Recorder Chad Airhart, Jason Bassett of Kum & Go and others at Gino's Restaurant and Lounge West Glen, 5513 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines.

The scheduled guests wear stripes that are decidedly Republican, but the gathering is open to all, Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike.
