What's Open and What's Closed on Veterans Day in West Des Moines?
Veterans Day is on Sunday, Nov. 11, but is being observed by many on Monday, Nov. 12.
Veterans Day is Sunday. For most, observations will be on Monday, Nov. 12.
There will be no mail delivery Monday, Nov. 12 in recognition of Veterans Day. About 90 percent of banks will be closed, according to a survey of the Iowa Bankers Association, so call ahead if you have banking business.
