Smile Makeovers are Free Again at West Des Moines Dental Clinic

Hundreds of residents have taken advantage of free fillings, cleanings and extractions during Lifepoint Dental Partners' previous Dentistry from the Heart clinics.

Lifepoint Dental Partners will again offer free dental services to the uninsured and other residents in need during a daylong dental clinic on Friday, Sept. 20.

Free services offered during the Dentistry from the Heart event, which runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the West Des Moines location, include fillings, cleanings and extractions. Lifepoint Dental Partners also has a clinic in Ankeny.

Five dentists, five hygienists and multiple dental assistants employed by the practic iwll join volunteers in offering the clinic. In the past, hundreds of patients have taken advantage of the free services.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. the day of the clinic and treatment will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients are encouraged to arrive early to get a place in line, and bring with them any food, beverages, blankets, chairs or other items that will make the wait outside more enjoyable.

Parking is available in the designated area in the northwest corner of the Hy-Vee parking lot at the corner of E.P. True Parkway and Grand Avenue.
