Doing the Most Good Night June 18

The Salvation Army's goal is to do the most good. On June 18 we will celebrated Doing the Most Good Night at Principal Park. The Salvation Army in Des Moines will be featured on the park's Jumbotron and you can get a free general admission ticket by helping our Des Moines food pantries. To get a free ticket to the Iowa Cub's June 18 game with the Nashville Sounds, bring three full size personal items (bath soap, shampoo, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, bathroom tissue, etc. An entire family will be admitted to the game for donating a package of disposable diapers or a can of infant formula. Look for the donation site by our emergency services canteen on the west side of the stadium. The items you donate will be distributed to families in need through our two DMARC food pantries. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. on June 18, but if you come early you can hear a Salvation Army brass ensemble play the National Anthem.
