Ex-Girlfriend Drops 'Floury' F-Bomb On Way Out

The woman reportedly took clothing, dishes, appliances and $650 in cash as she made good on a promise that a West Des Moines man would pay.

A West Des Moines man came home early on the morning of the Fourth of July to find “his entire apartment had been cleared out” and the burglar had dumped flour on the floor and scrawled an obscene message.

The victim told police he suspects his former girlfriend. The two reportedly had been in a serious relationship for about three years, then broke up about four months ago and she moved out of their apartment.

When the victim and his new girlfriend encountered his ex recently at any area mall, she reportedly “threatened him that he would pay,” according to Officer Stephen Becker’sreport.

A couch and loveseat in the apartment belonged to the victim’s ex-girlfriend, but everything else belonged to him, according to the report.

Among the items listed as missing were 15 pair of jeans with a combined value of $1,200; a television valued at $500; dishes valued at $80; a Wii game station and several games with a combined value of $420; and $652 in cash.
