Tap Dancer Earns Money on RAGBRAI

Here's one of the stories I didn't get around to posting during the Ragbrai week.

This is Matt McCune, 20 of West Des Moines, entertaining the crowd and making a few dollars during the Ragbrai stop in Valley Junction last week. He set up a tap dance space amidst the crowd and went to work.

Street performing as a tap dancer is his summer job.

"I usually work Thursday to Saturday, but since this is Ragbrai, I thought, why not," he said.

He's been tap dancing for 13 years and said he learned at Betty Hill Dance Studios.
